This year's Golden Globes saw plenty of solid colors -- as does every red carpet -- but one color trend that made a statement was two-toned gowns.
Amy Adams -- taking a modified version of her American Hustle character to the carpet -- wore shades of red in a neck-plunging Valentino gown. While Adams shined on the screen as her character Sydney Prosser, the low v-neck dress didn't leave us in complete awe as it did in David O. Russell's dramedy. Maybe it's because we still can't stop thinking about her Marchesa gown from last year's Globes.

Taylor Swift arrived in a strapless, heart-shaped Carolina Herrera pre-fall 2014 gown -- black on top and, what the singer described "cherry red," on the bottom. The singer, who was photobombed by Jennifer Lawrence during her interview with Ryan Seacrest, looked elegant and classy in the gown's beautiful long, gathered train. In another Carolina Herrera-designed gown was Julie Bowen, who stepped out in a two-toned maroon and plum number.
Aubrey Plaza, wearing Oscar de la Renta, looked lovely in a strapless, monochromatic lavender gown with a huge bow tied in the back. Compared to her lacy black, high-neck gown from the Emmys, we're happy to see Plaza opting for a lighter color this time around.
Sandra Bullock, who has been seen wearing several color-block dresses this season as she traveled the world for Gravity premieres, went for another multicolor look for this year's award show. The nominated actress dressed up in a pink-blue-black satin gown designed by Prabal Gurung from the pre-fall 2014 collection. Styled by Deb Waknin, Bullock's gown also had its asymmetrical hemline moment, revealing the black peep-toe heels she wore with the multi-hued number.
