Give it up for "Saving Mr. Banks" star Emma Thompson, who walked onto the 2014 Golden Globes stage barefoot, holding her Christian Louboutins heels with their signature red soles and pronouncing, "'I just want you to know that this red is my blood." Possibly the most dramatic shoe moment of the evening, but not the only one.
While "Masters of Sex" star Caitlin FitzGerald's gown looked unfortunately like a '50s-era hospital gown, we did appreciate her blue-and-peach-striped stilettos. Ditto for "New Girl" nominee Zooey Deschanel, whose crystal-and-tulle two-piece Oscar de la Renta dress looked odd, but her matching shoes were divine.
On the jewelry front, we loved "American Horror Story" star Emma Roberts' diamond and turquoise chandelier earrings; Paula Patton's aquamarine cocktail ring (better to avert your eyes from her horror of a dress); and "American Hustle" winner Jennifer Lawrence's wristful of Art Deco bracelets from Neil Lane, one which slipped off during her red carpet interview with Ryan Seacrest. A possibly million-dollar whoops!
