More Christopher Kane to covet: British designer Christopher Kane's work generally tends to make us go weak in the knees—and today, he's launched an exclusive capsule collection with Net-a-Porter. Check it out right here and tell us which pieces are your favorite! My personal picks? This cotton sweatshirt with a cool flower embroidered panel, above left, and this super-drama jersey mini-dress. Did your favorite guy make the cut? Our friends over at GQ have named their top-25 Most Stylish Men of 2013. Today, they've unveiled 25 through 21: Colin Farrell, Jack Dorsey (Twitter founder guy), Prince William, model David Gandy, and Michael B. Jordan. [GQ]

Kelly Clarkson's newest campaign: American Idol success story Kelly Clarkson has been named the new face of Citizen Watch Company—joining other celebs including Eli Manning, Matt Kenseth, and Victoria Azarenka, who are all sports folks. "We feel that Kelly Clarkson ideally reflects the values of our brand," says Citizen President Jeffrey Cohen. "We admire how she continually builds on her talent to reach new heights in her music and performances, as well as her inspirational and accessible style." Woohoo, congratulations Kelly! Kanye West does it again: In spite of his rants against unattainable, non-mass-market fashions, Kanye West has another pricey collaboration up his sleeve—the second in a series with French retailer APC. More $120 plain white T-shirts, perhaps? [BoF]

Save the bunnies! After recent videos surfaced of workers abusing angora bunnies by plucking them alive, retailers and brands including H&M, ASOS, and Ted Baker have pledged to stop production of angora products until they can thoroughly investigate—and get an all-clear—on their sourcing. "ASOS firmly believes it is not acceptable for animals to suffer in the name of fashion or cosmetics," said an ASOS spokesperson. "ASOS is a member of the Fur Free Alliance of retailers and recognises that the sourcing of angora and other rabbit hair products causes distress to animals. As such, we will remove all Asos and third party branded product that fails to meet the policy and no new orders will be raised containing angora or other rabbit hair." [Drapers]

Kim Kardashian wedding wishes: According to recent reports, Kim Kardashian is in the throes of planning her third wedding and is obsessed with the idea of wearing a Kate Middleton copycat dress. "Kim is absolutely obsessed with everything Kate and William do," a source says. "Kim loves Kate's style and while she is planning on several gowns for her big day, she wants the one for the ceremony to look something like Kate's dress." [Telegraph]

Can Playboy and fashion ever really work together? With the recent Kate Moss cover for Playboy, other models (like Alessandra Ambrosio) have also come out saying they'd pose for the men's magazine. The Guardian's Hadley Freeman has something to say about that. And that something is this:

It is well past time to call bullshit on this alliance between fashion and Playboy. If women want to make their careers out of glamour modelling, good luck to them, but to suggest that Playboy itself is somehow chic, that to ally oneself with that dud Viagra pill of a magazine is excitingly racy and that women who have achieved enormous success and fame in their fields are proving their self-worth and sexiness by posing for it is just demented.

Fashion, as this column often chinstrokes, should be - and is, in its purest form - about giving people pleasure and self-expression. But too often, the women's fashion industry seems hellbent on reducing women to tired stereotypes, miserable clones and sexless sex objects.

Fashion Secret Santa: What if someone organized a Secret Santa between some of the biggest names in the fashion industry? And then filmed the gift-unveiling? That's exactly what The Cut is doing this season—and today, Bryanboy receives a beehive (sort of) from stylist Mary Alice Stephenson. Watch his reaction right here. "Super excited," he says, "Oh wow, it's so cute! It's a bee!" [The Cut]

The future is now: MaxMara debuts Weekend Max Mara this spring—a capsule collection made from special Made in Italy fabrics using NewLife yarn, which is made from recycled plastic bottles put through a mechanical (not chemical) process. [F2F]
