The accessories in Maiko Takeda's Cinematography collection aren't just decorative by themselves; when light shines through them, they also decorate other surfaces with photograph-like images of light and shadow.
Each item in the collection contains a hand-pierced screen, which projects an image onto the surface of the skin or another nearby surface. Of course, the projection works best when light is being directly shined through the screen. It would be interesting to see a video of accessories like this in action under less than ideal lighting conditions. Takeda created this series as her degree collection at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design, and you can see the rest of the collection at her website.
