Lest you think that men don't care about style, lest you give up hope and resign yourself to poorly-dressed male companions, take heart: There are men on Pinterest, and they care about what they wear.
On Thursday, Pinterest shared its top trending pins of the year in a variety of categories, including Women's Fashion and Men's Fashion.
For women, the top pins were inspirational photos, beautiful shots of tulle dresses, "boho" looks (what's up, Free People?), tartan styles and girly collars. But the top men's pins are of a different sort: Nearly half are instructional, including step-by-step directions on how to tie a bow tie or scarf and guides to differentiating between types of shirts and shoes.
We can't be certain that it's all men pinning these helpful graphics -- we'd bet our entire Pinterest accounts that there are some well-meaning wives, girlfriends and mothers pinning these on their own walls or passing them along with their boys' best interest at heart.
But if even a few men are pinning these themselves, it gives us hope... and it's compelling us to seek out the guys who are. Maybe they're the same ones who are hitting each other up for fashion advice on Reddit?
