Destiny USA roundup: News on fashion, beer and Cheesecake - Syracuse.com

SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The next few weeks will be busy at Destiny USA as the mall gets ready for more new tenants to open.

First up, French high-fashion retailer Promod is now open on the first level of Destiny's older section. The store is across from Forever 21.

It's one of the Retail Group of America brands announced for Destiny earlier this year. Jennyfer and Lipsy, two other RGA brands, opened in the last few weeks and more are on the way.

The opening for one of the RGA offerings, Billy Beez, has been pushed back. The indoor play park for kids was aiming to open this month, but is now targeting early January.

The attraction will be on the third floor of Destiny's expansion section.

Cheesecake Factory is coming together and is now aiming for an opening in early 2014. The restaurant had been targeting Dec. 10.

The chain's exterior signage has been going up on the mall for weeks.

World of Beer will be open this month too and work is underway at 5 Wits, another entertainment option.

5 Wits is bringing interactive attractions to the third floor at Destiny. One will be focused on an espionage adventure and the other will involve an Indiana Jones-style theme.
