'Scandal' Style Infographic: The Fashion Disciples of Olivia Pope - Yahoo TV (blog)

"Scandal" is all about the shocking twists and turns, the love triangles, and the Gladiators at Olivia Pope & Associates, but let's face it: It's also about the fashion.

Costume designer Lyn Paolo has created a stunning signature look for everyone at OPA, but Kerry Washington's Olivia Pope look is by far the most copied — fittingly, Pope now has several small screen fashion disciples. Take a look:

Let's break them down:

* Jessica Pearson (Gina Torres), "Suits" on USA: Much like Olivia Pope, Jessica is the boss lady of Pearson Specter, and she definitely dresses the part, with sky-high heels and often a pop of Pope's signature white.

* Mindy Lahiri (Mindy Kaling), "The Mindy Project" on Fox: Mindy's wardrobe is much more colorful, and she never met a print she didn't love to layer, but in her more classic style moments — like the plaid trench, shown — she's definitely Gladiator material.

* Joan Watson (Lucy Liu), "Elementary" on CBS: Joan's style has gotten a much-needed boost this season, and Sherlock's crime-solving companion can rock an accessory like nobody's business. White hats back on!

* Claire Underwood (Robin Wright), "House of Cards" on Netflix: Claire appreciates classic lines and designer duds, much like Olivia Pope. She tends to show more leg in figure-flaunting sheath dresses, but all of her looks scream powerful.

* Alicia Florrick (Julianna Margulies), "The Good Wife" on CBS: Alicia is always ready for a court appearance and/or a knock-down, drag-out battle with a coworker or some political heavy-hitter. But it's not just boring lawyer suits — even when they're grey, they've got flair.

* Megan Draper (Jessica Paré), "Mad Men" on AMC: Megan pushes the style envelope as a progressive woman in the '60s, but when it's time to go glam for special occasions, she looks solid gold in classics that sparkle.

* Jeannie Van Der Hooven (Kristen Bell), "House of Lies" on Showtime: Jeannie is a little more black where Olivia opts for white, but they can both pull off a buttoned-up blazer and make it look fashion-forward, sexy, and not at all stiff.
