Yes, yes, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt wore his-and-hers tuxedos on the 2014 BAFTA red carpet, but there were plenty of other looks worth talking about. Here's a rundown of the most notable:
BEST DRESSED
"Long Walk to Freedom" star Naomie Harris's severely-cut Chanel was leavened by the bright pink shade. It was a simple but sophisticated look that edged out "12 Years a Slave" star Lupita Nyong'o's strapless green Christian Dior with dramatic skirt. Emma Thompson of "Saving Mr. Banks" dialed back the quirk tonight, wearing a simple red gown with draped neckline from Maria Grachvogel.

Presenter Uma Thurman's black Versace strapless column was certainly servicable, but we loved the tight-fitting cutaway jacket she paired with it later in the evening. And Marchesa designer Georgina Chapman, on the arm of producer Harvey Weinstein, wore a romantic gold-embroidered black gown with billowing sleeves from her own fall 2013 collection.
MOST DISAPPOINTING
Not worst dressed, mind you, but there were a handful of women who have stunned all season but failed to excite tonight. Amy Adams has been rocking the retro "American Hustle" looks, but her odd Victoria Beckham, with a prim collar and sheer blocking, didn't impress. "Blue Jasmine" winner Cate Blanchett also looked ho-hum in a black short-sleeved Alexander McQueen with metallic blossoms on the skirt.
WORST DRESSED
Singer Lily Allen wore a tortured-looking pink and orange Vivienne Westwood, while "Blue is the Warmest Color" actress Lea Seydoux's navy Miu Miu dress had a beautifully embellished bodice, but the sheer-skirt-over-mini trend has got to end. And speaking of embellishment, good lord, presenter Maggie Gyllenhaal looked like a bead store threw up on her in her purple lace gown from Lanvin.
