The International Motorcycle Exhibition, or Eicma, is the biggest show of its type in the world. The show’s 71st edition, which concluded on Sunday in Milan, displayed many new models, some of which are highlighted here.
BMW is celebrating its 90th anniversary with the R Nine T, honoring tradition with retro cool. The 1,170-cc power plant is an air- and oil-cooled boxer twin. The R Nine T features a new steel-tube frame, traditional telescopic forks and shaft drive. Designed to be customized and accessorized, the subframe and lighting are removable. This model will be sold in the United States — BMW dealerships are already taking deposits.
