STERLING — It was all about clothing Friday at the Logan County Fair, as the annual "Stirrup Some Fun" 4-H Fashion Revue was held at Sterling High School.

The show featured all things western, from denim and boots to rhinestones and ribbons. Participants in each age division decorated or constructed a garment and then modeled it.

The actual judging of the outfits, which was done by Shari McMinn and Carol Heupel, was completed in the afternoon prior to the school. Judging was based on how the outfit fit the model, fabric, fit, color and style, along with the selection of accessories to complete the outfit. Judges also considered poise, posture, and grooming.

Heather Brungardt served as mistress of ceremonies for the public ceremony, where awards were handed out to the winners of each of the three age divisions - Senior (14-18 year old), Intermediate (11-13 years old), Junior (8-10 years old) - as well as the Encore Division, which is judged on suitability of clothing to the person, appropriateness for the occasion and fit.

Each model received popcorn from Colorado Popcorn and a ribbon.
