S.A. set to go all out for fashion in November - mySanAntonio.com

SAN ANTONIO — Fashionistas, better brush up on your catwalk strut as San Antonio will have not one, but two Fashion Weeks of its own come November.

Fashion Week San Antonio, produced by Tony Harris, is slated for Nov. 1 to Nov. 7 with most events at Texas A&M-San Antonio Educational & Cultural Center, 101 S. Santa Rosa Ave. Fashion Week South, produced by Ceslie Armstrong, happens Nov. 6 to Nov. 9 at Eilan Hotel Resort & Spa, 17103 La Cantera Parkway.

Tickets for Harris’ seven-day event range from $10 to $35 and grant access to several fashion shows and parties. To purchase online, go to http://ift.tt/10QVpVz or buy them at the door. No phone sales are available.

Armstrong, who owns Perlita Productions, a fashion and event planning company, said she created Fashion Week South, a four-day event, because she’s passionate about the fashion industry and San Antonio, her hometown. The highlight of her event is Cesar Galindo, a Houston designer based in New York, who will send out the spring 2015 collection he recently showed at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week. His luncheon show begins at11 a.m., and tickets cost $125.

Tickets for the other events cost $20 and can be purchased online at fashionweeksouth.com or by calling 210-888-0889. Tickets also can be purchased at the door.
