If you have a child in your home who walks around singing the songs from the hit movie "Frozen" all day, we have the perfect mobile app for them. NY1's Adam Balkin filed the following report.
If you have children around 12 years old or younger, chances are they do it anyway 90% of their free time these days, so may as well get an app to help them belt out loud all of the songs from the hit Disney movie Frozen.
This is Disney Karaoke: Frozen and it works pretty much like you’d expect it to.
You can either just sing along out loud with the characters from the movie, choosing from one of nine songs, and then following along with the bouncing snowflake—or, if you hit the little record button, the vocals are dropped from the app and you record your own, which can then be saved and shared.
Disney Karaoke: Frozen is out now for iPads only and costs $7.99.
Alternatively, for the budding fashion designer in your home, this is an interesting concept from Crayola called My Virtual Fashion Show.
You buy a kit that comes with colored pencils and special paper like this that has QR type codes in the corners.
Those codes are there because after you’re done decorating your model on paper, you then snap a photo with your mobile device and then the Crayola My Virtual Fashion Show app will pull your dress into your device and show you a model walking the runway wearing your creation.
You can even choose from a few virtual cities where that fashion show will take place. In the app, you can also add some accessories and make some alterations.
The My Virtual Fashion Show kit costs around $17, and the companion app that makes it virtual is free on iOS and Android devices.
