Fashion show held to benefit "Hello Gorgeous" - WNDU-TV

SOUTH BEND, Ind.--- “Hello Gorgeous” surprises women who have cancer with makeovers throughout the year.

Now those women are turning the tables and giving back.

At a fundraising luncheon and fashion show held at the Christian Center Event Center on Saturday, former makeover candidates strutted their stuff to show off their new looks.

As with many "Hello Gorgeous” events guests could bid on auction items to help make more makeovers possible for women going through cancer.

“For me what's really wonderful is I see nominations all the time, now I get to put faces with names,” said Kim Becker, the founder of “Hello Gorgeous.” “I get to hear their stories and I get to hear a little bit about what their “Hello Gorgeous” experience meant to them.”

“Hello Gorgeous” now does makeovers in 9 states, and they have helped hundreds of women.
